Chosing your first bike can be almost as difficult as choosing your first car, unless you more or less know outright what you want, and nothing will change your mind.

Your choice needs to take into account how you will be using your bike (e.g. commuting, track days, occasional weekend toy), as well as ergonomics. Getting the wrong bike could very well ruin your motorcycle experience - so make the right choice to avoid been put off.
